Weleda Pomegranate Firming Serum

Thanks to Weleda’s Pomegranate Firming Serum, my closer-to-50-than-to-40 skin is finally getting some much-needed antioxidants.

At my age face care is all about moisture and firming…and using the most natural products I can find. Weleda uses natural ingredients such as sesame, sunflower, and wheat germ oils, and shea butter, that are good for my skin. I’m extremely sensitive to chemicals and fragrances, but have never had a problem using Weleda products because any scent they might have is mild and derived from plant extracts.

I’ve been using Weleda’s luxurious Pomegranate Firming Serum for weeks, and I love it. The opaque serum is simple to use—all I need is a small squirt from the pump bottle—and so light and soft. It only takes a second or two to apply, and the serum goes on dry so my skin feels natural. Then I apply Weleda Pomegranate Firming Day Cream, and I’m good for the day.

I also use the Pomegranate Firming Serum at night before applying my Weleda Pomegranate Firming Night Cream.

I like that the  Pomegranate Firming Serum comes in a one-ounce bottle that’s easy to store in my medicine cabinet, toss in my purse, and pack into a carry-on bag for air travel. All cosmetic products should come in small bottles!

Because they’re natural, and imported from Germany, Weleda products cost more than the usual drugstore brands, but to me it’s worth it to have products that are healthy for my skin and chemical-free!  Weleda has a long history of making natural skin care products and their products are tested by dermatologists.
