Texture Knit Mitts : Cool, Warm, Funky Style
I love love love my Texture Knit Mitts. A. They keep my arms and hands warm, so they're ideal with a tee shirt any time it's just a bit too cold for a tee shirt but too warm for a long sleeve shirt. B. They're made out of a soft, double-layered organic cotton and hemp blend that feels wonderful against my skin. Also, they have just enough lycra for a nice snug fit (I may be super tall and long-limbed - but my wrists are very thin and dainty) from knuckles to a few inches short of my elbow. C. Knit Mitts are available in a variety of colors. The hand piece is made out of one color; the arm piece another. So, I have the choice of red/orange, purple/black, black/black, brown/pink, and so on. D. Everyone can wear Knit Mitts -- they're available in men's and women's sizes. E. I look so cool in my Knit Mitts. I feel kind of tough in them. Other times, I feel snuggly in them (sometimes I wear them to bed because I don't want to take them off). I also feel like a Dickens character, toiling away at my computer in my freezing apartment (I have heat but don't turn on my radiators because I don't want to dry out my antique teak daybed from Bali). I feel like I could go chop wood in them, or sell roasted chestnuts on the street corner, or sit and knit in the park on a chilly day. I can do anything in them. They go with jeans and skirts and hats and tees. They fortify me, they make me feel cute, and they're totally functional. I love the warmth with full finger dexterity. It's important. Bottom Line: I don't really see how anyone can be happy without a pair of Knitmitts. I plan on using my birthday money to get more Knit Mitts. I want a pair in every color!! Don't be a nitwit, get some Knit Mitts!--E.D. (Jan 09) Price: $32 Buy Online: see Texture's website, below. Manufacturer's Site: www.textureclothing.com |
