Suki Eye Balm : Carrot Power
I know my way around the cleanser-moisturizer routine, but eye treatments are something new. The Suki Eye Balm freaked me out at first because my skin looked orange the minute I applied it. That's because it's full of organic carrot seed extracts, carrot oil, and fair trade cocoa butter and shea butter, which contain super powered care and natural soothing properties to treat sun damage, wrinkles, and swelling. I did a little research and discovered that I want to use carrot products because they're so good for my skin. Now, I use it only at night, and I think that's probably when it does the most good. After a few weeks of using it, the skin around my eyes; crow's feet and all, looked and felt a whole lot better. I don't think it removed my wrinkles, but maybe the shea butter, borage oil and rose hips already did enough soothing and protecting to actually tone my skin. Bottom Line: I hadn't realized how delicate my skin is around my eyes. I'm glad that I have a balm (not a mere lotion) filled with organic natural goodness to help me look my best.--S.W.
