Sugoi Wallaroo 210 Tuke: That's Canadian for "Hat"
I'm a hat person. Always have been. I look good in hats, my head gets cold easily, and I seem to have more than my fair share of bad hair days. This fall I've been wearing Sugoi's Wallaroo 210 Tuke, a reversible merino wool cap that's keeping my head warm and dry in drizzly weather. Because it's wool, it wicks and breathes well, so I wear it on my power walks, too. After weeks of wear, the tuke is still odor-free, in spite of some sweaty head workouts. I love that it's thin and lightweight, so I can toss it in my jacket pocket when I don't need it. I also like that the Wallaroo 210 Tuke is long enough to easily cover my ears and to wear with the hem folded up for some contrast color. The hat is lined with gray merino wool, so I can wear either side out. Cool. Really, it's four hats in one: a black hat, a gray hat, a black hat with gray trim, and a gray hat with black trim. The Sugoi Wallaroo 210 Tuke is naturally stretchy, so one size fits all. I feel more snug in this hat than other merino hats I've worn in the past. Still, it's not a tight fit. Because it's so thin, it fits well under my windbreaker hood - which comes in handy when it starts pouring during my workout. Eco Creds: 100% merino wool, a renewable resource. Sizes: One size, unisex. Colors: Black (gray lining), Flamingo (gray lining), Matador (gray lining) Bottom Line: High marks for style, function, fit, and appearance. An all-purpose hat for exercise, outdoor activities, casual wear, and more. --E.D. (Nov 09) BUY ONLINE: $40,
