Sub_Urban Riot Women's Bicycle Tee : Freewheelin'

Over the years I've tested and reviewed a lot of apparel. I've also changed shape a bit as I've aged. So, my tiny clothes from a few years ago just aren't working for me anymore.

But even if I wasn't bigger, I still like having tees on hand that are loose but not baggy and body conscious not body hugging. I've found the fit, comfort, and style I love in a women's tee by Sub-Urban Riot.

It's made out of lovely soft, thin organic cotton, and cut to allow me the space I need through the chest and hips. The tee curves in every so slightly at the waist, giving me a nice silhouette. Because I'm tall and have a large chest, it's hard to find tees to fit. My Sub_Urban tee is so comfortable, and I love the way the fabric drapes off of my curves. I also love the longer length through the torso. I can wear this tee with my low-rise jeans and it covers my lower back. I can move and groove in my sweet bicycle tee, and that make me feel fancy and free!

This black tee bears an imprint of several red bicycles cascading around the side of the shirt onto the bottom of the front of the shirt, a design that culiminates a white cycle pulling ahead of the pack. Cool.

The scoop-neck style works really well with the loose fit and long length. I also like the cap-style sleeves (which are plenty big enough to allow me complete range of motion - unlike some tiny sleeves on tiny shirts that choke my upper arms). I like how they designed this shirt -- basically, they took a regular crew-neck tee and cut out the neckline and cut off most of the sleeve.

This is one of those tops that I wore all the time when I first got it, then decided I'd reserve it for special occasions since it looked so good with my black skirt. Now that I've cycled around to it, I'm keeping it in my regular rotation. I just can't wait that long in between occasions to wear this fun top.

I like Sub_Urban's tagline: "High-end basic without the high-end attitude." So true. They make affordable organic fashions for women and men, priced at around $30. They have several different styles and cuts, so it's easy to find one that fits your look and your body.

Eco Creds: Made out of organic cotton in the USA. Sub_Urban Riot donates 1% of profits to the environmental organization, 1% For The Planet.

Bottom Line: This is one of my favorite tees. It's well made and attractive, and it fits perfectly.--E.D. (April '10)
