Stewart & Brown Lengthen Tee

Ever since I was a teenager people have said to me, "you can wear anything--you're so tall and thin." I was, but I couldn't.

First of all, in a former life I must have been a dachshund because I have the longest torso ever. Shirts were never long enough, jackets were never long enough...don't even get me going on swimsuits. So, I wore a lot of men's clothing. Great for length, not so great for looking like a girl.

Lucky for me, today's style trends favor us long tall Sally types. So, I'm all over the low rise jeans (finally, woman's pants in 34 length), and now, with Stewart & Brown's Lengthen Tee, I'm fully covered and looking 100% chica caliente. I love this super soft, luxuriously thin, extra-long tee.

Made out of organic cotton in the USA, this top is a "must have" for fall. It has a simple, deconstructed look with unfinished sleeves ends that form delicate rolls and simple contrast stitching around the neck (no ribbing or trim to finish it off). Both the torso and sleeves taper in a bit at the middle, so I get a very flattering fit that shows my curves without broadcasting them or showing the extra weight I'm carrying right now. All of this without a speck of Lycra.

The Lengthen Tee feels fabulous on my skin, and it's quite versatile. I wear it around the house with leggings, I wear it out with jeans, I layer it under my favorite purple vest. The neckline is scooped but not gaping, which is perfect for me. Shows enough skin that I can display my fancy necklaces, but it's not so scooped that I get cold or my bra straps show. I love that the sleeves are actually long enough -- with extra length to hang over the top of my hand!
