Smartwool Microweight Tank : Summer Top or Fall Undershirt

Until I discovered Smartwool's Microweight Tank, I thought I was through with tanks.

They never seemed to fit. They were too tight or too loose or the arm holes were too big or the shoulder straps were too skinny.

My new Microweight Tank is perfect. For one thing, it's super stylish with princess seams that square off the front and back neckline for a pleasing contrast with the curvy fit. With seams set in from the sides several inches, I get a body-hugging (but not tight) top that's ideal for active use or casual dress.

The straps are nice and wide, so no bra strap peeks out--not that I'm a prude, but I am a lady...and ladies don't walk around looking sloppy. The armholes are exactly big enough for freedom of movement and small enough for modesty. All of the seams are flat-locked to prevent chafing.

Because it's a fitted top and has a low enough neckline, I can easily wear it under other clothes, even dresses. Bonus.

The Microweight Tank is made out of Smartwool's finest merino fabric; it's ideal alone or as a baselayer. Like my Microweight Tee, it's highly breathable, ideal for hot temps, and does a great job of wicking and regulating my body temperature. It's also naturally odor-resistant, so I can wear it many, many times before it smells.
