Sameunderneath Men's Five-Pocket Pant : An Action Pant for Eco Men
My girlfriend's been all about working on a new look -- for me! I guess I'm ok with that because so far, I've liked all of the garments she's asked me to wear test. Top of my list : the Five-Pocket Pant by Sameunderneath, an organic cotton jean-style pant with serious eco creds that I'd wear even if it wasn't sustainably produced. I like the fit of this pant a lot - not baggy, not tight, but just right. They feel like my favorite pair of jeans but because they're made of a lighter weight cotton than denim, they're actually more comfortable than jeans for warmer weather. The cotton has a little bit of Spandex in it, too, which I actually like because the pants really stretch when I need them to. If I want to go for a walk or shoot baskets after work I don't need to change clothes.
There are many attractive details on this pant, such as the lined waistband, made out of the same colorful material as the front pocket lining, and the metal grommets at the corners of every pocket. The logo embossed snaps on the front of the pant and back pockets are cool. The front pockets are generous - that's key and there's an extra belt loop on the back of the pant for double support. I like that. Eco Creds: Made out of 98 percent organic cotton. Bottom Line: Don't hate me because I'm fashionable. I'm still the same guy I was before. These are really cool pants, and they're super comfortable. --B. M. (April '10) BUY ONLINE : $154 (More colors and sizes might be available at other online retailers.)
