Preserve Plastic Plates : Perfectly Packable for Picnics
When I decided to test out Recycline's recycled kitchen products, I assumed I'd be using the plates mostly for picnics and parties. Then I got stuck in a big deadline and stopped doing my dishes, and out came the plastic plates. For some reason, I don't mind washing them, but don't like washing dishes. Probably because they're so easy to wash. As I rinse, I just swipe them with a soapy sponge, and they're done. The plates come in two sizes, 10" dinner plates (in an 8-pack), and a 7" lunch plate (in a 10-pack). Both are made out of recycled yogurt containers (#5, the type of plastic that some cities don't recycle), so it's kind of cool to eat off of a plate that was someone's breakfast container. These plates are dishwasher safe and seriously durable. I've been using them as my every-day plates for weeks, and they still look great. They're also sturdy. When I make the trek from my kitchen to my couch, my plate doesn't bend or give way under the weight of my dinner. Nice. Eco Creds: made in the USA, BPA free, made out of recycled material, recyclable. Bottom Line: I love the bold colors, the eco creds, and the fact that they're lightweight and easy to pack for picnics. Available in fun, bold colors like red, green, and purple.--E.D.
