Prana Molly Denim Capri : Easy, Breezy, Caprizy

I grew up wearing the old-fashioned jeans - dark and stiff. So, I'm always skeptical of denim that's pre-washed, pre-faded, pre-torn. Where I come from you need to earn those things.  

Then I tried Prana's Molly Denim Capri pant, and had to expand my denim views.  

This low-rise organic cotton pant is easy to like. I love the low rise style, which is still plenty modest, and the soft denim. I also benefit from the 2% Lycra in the fabric - a gal needs room and stretch to move about town! I like how the jeans get baggier as I wear them -- I prefer a looser fit.

I've never worn capri-length jeans before, and I actually like the look now. I had my reservations about the tears, but my fashionista friend complimented me on these pants so I'm fine with them now!

I'm glad Prana keeps it simple this this capri - no foofy details, no adornments or appliqués, no flashy logos. Just a nice, easy pant for every day wear (and I do mean every day - I tend to wear them for days at a time before washing again because they're so comfortable.)

Available in sizes 0-14. I tested a size larger than I usually wear, but I'm also 20 lbs heavier than usual. If you're in between sizes or want a looser fit, I recommend going for the larger size.

Bottom Line: I like this easy pant - so comfy it's become a regular in my lounge wear lineup.- E.D. (June '10)
