Pangea Organics Shower Gel : "Ecocentric Body Care"
I like to keep it simple in the shower. I used to only have some diluted Dr. Bronner's liquid soap in my caddy, and that was it for hair and body. Then I fell in love with some fancy ginger shampoo, and switched to Dr. Bronner's bar soap. But I wanted more. I wanted something fancy for my body, too. I still wanted simple, and I definitely wanted natural. I'm allergic to chemical fragrance, so my desire for eco-friendly was mostly about me not breaking into a rash or having an asthma attack than about finding a lovingly made, planet-friendly product. It's just a bonus that my new shower gel, made by Pangea Organics, is cruelty-free, organic, and fair trade. It's a pure treat that my Malagasy Ylang Ylang and Linden Flower shower gel, is gentle, concentrated, and clean. Unlike most shower gels I've used, Pangea's is never gloppy or sticky or too sudsy or perfumey. The gel is simple and heavenly (but lightly) and naturally scented. A little goes a long way, too. I love that this product also has therapeutic benefits. Because Pangea Organics only uses pure, high quality ingredients, I get a mini aromatherapy and herbal therapy session every time I shower. I picked the Malagasy Ylang Ylang and Linden Flower shower gel because the Pangea web site says that this formulation is soothing for all skin types and has mind relaxing properties. Love it. Other formulations: Canadian Pine with White Sage, Italian White Sage with Geranium and Yarrow, Egyptian Basil and Mint, Pyrenees Lavender with Cardamom, Indian Lemongrass with Rosemary. Hmm. Bottom Line: Showering has gone from mundane to something I look forward to every day. I'm so happy to have a product that works well, is all natural, and isn't complicated or overdone. Pangea Organics has found perfect balance and put it in a bottle.--E.D. (May 09) Price: $16 for 8 oz bottle ~click Manufacturer's Site: www.pangeaorganics.com
