Pangea Organics Egyptian Calendula & Blood Orange Cleanser : Course One
(This is the first review in a three course facial treatment.) My face is at a feast with Pangea Organics's "ecocentric skincare" products--so much so that I'm not sure if I'm in an exotic garden or at a bounteous banquet. I'm not a person who fusses, primping and preening over my appearance, but I have always tried to find lotions that work for me ever since my mother dragged me to a dermatologist to hear the dreaded verdict of Ichthyosis to describe my scaly legs and arms. Thankfully, my face was spared this affliction, but I've also tried to treat it with care using good quality natural products. Until now nothing has been quite as delicious as Pangea's face care products. I love that when I read the label I can not only recognize and pronounce every one, but also imagine eating or drinking them. My first sensation was with the Egyptian Calendula & Blood Orange Cleanser, which is formulated for all skin types. It wowed me right away with overtones of a fine cocktail, whether it was a Whisky Sour or a Manhattan, I'm not quite sure. No matter, I'll drink to that! Evidently, so does my skin. The cleanser is ultra silky and rich feeling, and, as recommended, I'm using just my fingers to cleanse, instead of that ratty scrubby thing I'm accustomed to, which of course would have absorbed and wasted some of this precious cleanser. I was pleasantly surprised by the tingly feel while cleansing, which left my skin slighty taut, but also feeling very moist. How do they do that?
