Pangea Organics Italian Red Mandarin with Rose Cream : Course Three
(This is the third review in a series of three. If you're just starting here, please click to return to the first review.) Third and final course: Italian Red Mandarin with Rose Cream. This cream is designed for dry and dehydrated skin, and among the five face creams PO offers for different skin types, it's also labeled "for thirsty skin." That would be me. The Italian Red Mandarin with Rose Cream comes in a small pump bottle, and I was happy to find that a little goes a long, long way. Just a pump or two has my face and neck covered with a finely wrought, delicate cream. I chuckled that it was for 'evolved' skin, especially with my history of armored fish-like skin. Perhaps my skin will evolve further (and for the better) with my new PO face products. Pangea Organics also gets points for its sleek, utilitarian packaging that reinforces their ecocentric mission. Boxes of 100% post-consumer waste and are made, according to PO, with a 'Zero Waste' process. Pangea should say Zero Waste Plus, because the box is imbedded with sweet Italian basil seed, so I can get a little return on my investment by simply planting the box. A few months from now, I'll be harvesting a little basil for my own sweet feast. How cool is that? Eco Creds: from their web site: "Pangea products are (and always will be): Bottom Line: The Pangea products I tested are luxurious and delicious for every day use. The only downside I can think of is that I wouldn't travel with glass bottles. But if you believe, as I do, that small companies are beautiful and that they can best deliver on their promises, then Pangea Organics may be the right products for your face, too.
