Nau Succinct Trench (in Women's and Men's styles) : Rain Wear Never Looked So Spy

Even though I know that my Nau Succinct Trench is tough enough for the outdoors, I won't wear it hiking. I don't want to get it dirty!
I love this slim, elegant, waterproof, breathable, packable knee-length rain jacket. (Calling it a trench seems so pedestrian - this jacket is a work of art.) Design wise, I've never looked so good in a knee-length coat (except for Nau's Shroud of Purrin Trench-which is a must-have coat for fall and winter). It's sleek, tapering in slightly at the waist, then maintaining a slim profile down to my knees. (Click to see men's.)
The sleeves are brilliantly designed, with the tops of the sleeves extending out over the tops of my hands and the wrist side of the sleeve hems hitting exactly at my wrist. I get coverage and mobility. I also have the options of folding the excess sleeve length inside the sleeve and snapping it shut if I want a shorter length. Sweet.
Naturally, the seams are all taped, the chunky front zippered is protected by a rain flap, and the collar comes up very high. I get excellent weather protection. I also appreciate the hood - it's just he right size and doesn't have a giant stiff bill like so many outdoor rain jackets. The jacket has under arm vents and breathes well, so I don't get overheated.
I like the two zippered side pockets, slanted for effect, which are generously sized. The zips are waterproof, too. There's also a hidden MP3 (in my case, iPod) pocket inside the jacket.
See for yourself - the Succinct Trench is a most flattering jacket for street smart city gals. As usual, Nau has designed a perfect garment that has a lot going on but appears to be very simple. Bravo.
