Nau Women's Lilt V-Neck Tee : Lovely, Lightweight, Luscious Cotton

If you think a t-shirt is just a t-shirt, you haven't really owned a beautiful t-shirt yet.

Nau's women's Lilt V-Neck Tee has been the top half of my spring uniform for weeks, and it's going to be my favorite summer top, too. The organic cotton is ultra fine, with horizontal stripes woven into the fabric. If I hold it up to my face I can see through it -- but when I'm wearing it nobody can see me through it. So, I get the light, breezy tee I want for warm weather without having to wear a tank or camisole underneath.

I love the v-neck on this tee. The trim has a lovely texture and appearance because it's constructed out of a double layer of unfinished cotton, with the top layer slightly shorter than the other. So, both layers curl a bit to reveal the neckline--like a flower opening up it's petals.

The neck is nice and open, but not too low. Perfect for me. I also like that the sleeves fit just right. Too many women's tops have these tiny little capped sleeves that are too tight and it throws off the drape and fit of the shirt. That's never happened to me with a Nau shirt.

Most of all, I love the fabric used in this tee. It's sheer and soft. It almost feels like I'm not wearing anything - which is exactly how I want to feel this summer! It also dries quickly, so it's handy for travel.
