Mrs. Meyers Clean Day Surface Scrub (Lemon Verbena) : Perfect for the Tub

Every time I walk into my bathroom the streaky walls of my bath tub grab my attention just long enough to make me realize I need to do something about them before I get sidetracked by something else and walk out. I finally decided to clean the tub, and I used Mrs Meyers Clean Day Surface Scrub because I wanted to use a more natural product than the usual chemical cleaning products that one might use to clean a bath tub.

The Surface Scrub cleaner was very easy to use, a requirement for me if I'm going to spend any time focused on cleaning my tub. I simply sprinkled it lightly over the porcelain sides and bottom, then took a damp scrub pad and scrubbed over the entire area of the tub. I then rinsed it down and my tub was much cleaner and streak free. It also smelled great! There was only one stain in the tub that took a second hit with the powder and scrub sponge, but it went away after that second try.

Next I used the Surface Scrub to clean my older white ceramic kitchen sink that "browns" up over time. I sprinkled the powder all over it, scrubbed it with the sponge and then let it sit for about 5 minutes to let the powder do the work. (It has oxygen bleach in it, a natural cleaning activator.) I rinsed it well and my sink was nice and white again without my having to use a strong bleach product.

Bottom Line: I'll definitely keep this Surface Scrub product on hand for cleaning the bath tub and sinks to get them white and streak free again. It's a much more natural product than what I've been using in the past, is much less harsh on me and on the surfaces it touches. The lemon scent is a bonus.--N.S. (Oct 09)
