Lavera Loose Powder : A Perfect Finish

I haven't used a pressed powder in a long time, but with summer heat coming on, I decided to try Lavera's Mattifying Finishing Powder to see how well it prevented shine and gave my makeup a smoother look.

This loose powder is a good choice for me because it works well and it's made out of natural minerals and plant ingredients. If I'm going to have something on my skin all day, I feel better knowing that it's not laden with chemicals.

The container comes with a powder puff, which is soft and makes it easy to pat the powder on my skin. I use the powder on top of my foundation, making sure I apply it over my oily t-zone (chin, nose, and forehead) and under my eyes to fill in lines. It went on smooth and blended well.

It also lasted all day. I mowed the lawn and took a walk, and even after that activity in fairly warm weather, my makeup still had a matte finish. If you're going to be doing some serious sweating (actual exercise), bring the powder with you and pat on afterward to absorb oil and give your face a fresh look again without the glistening shine.
