Keen Coronado Mary Jane : School Girl Style

I tested both my overly feminine nature and my high comfort standards by agreeing to take these Keen shoes for a walk.

I never thought I would be wearing such a sensible shoe, but when I saw these darling Mary Janes, I knew I had to try them.

I slipped on these sneakers in disguise and was pleasantly surprised by the cushy footbed (uncommon in most stiff mary janes). The sporty, rugged features, such as the thick rubber sole and the rubber toe bumper, blended well with the shoe's sweet uppers, a modern, sporty take on a classic girly shoe.

I liked the chunky sole for it's foot protection--and it gave me a little lift (I'm used to wearing super flat shoes. I also liked the natural canvas, which I felt was both comfortable and breathable.

Keen's Coronado Mary Jane's met my cozy, resilient standard for my long walk in the city. But did it satisfy my ever girly side? With two-tone floral print and red contrasted stitching, I willingly submitted!
