Josie Maran Argan Oil Hair Serum : Soothes Wild Hair Into Style

As much as I love fancy body and hair care products, I mistakenly assumed that something as luxurious sounding as Josie Maran's Argan Oil Hair Serum just wouldn't work in my crazy-thick, unruly hair. I was wrong!

I wear my hair pretty short, with the longest messy strands reaching about two or three inches. I usually use a styling wax or globs of leave-in conditioner to keep my thick hair from poofing out. Then I went on with my evening and didn't think once about my hair until I caught myself in a mirror several hours later. My hair was shiny! And smooth. Remarkably, it also looked thinner because I'd blended the serum throuhgout my hair and it prevented the frizzy poof that occurs when I don't put any product in my hair.

My hair didn't feel greasy from the oil but nourished and soft, as if I had applied moisturizer. It was a nice feeling and very different from the sticky or waxy residue I get from my usual products. I haven't given up on my standard hair goop, but now I have some options. When I want a softer look or when my hair is in that in-between-cuts-trying-to-get-two-more-weeks-out-of-my-last-cut phase I use the Josie Maran Argan Oil Hair Serum.
