Indigenous Designs Ruched Scoop Top : Whisper Soft, Ultra Elegant

Every season, Indigenous Designs impresses me with fancy new eco fashions. Currently, their Ruched Scoop top is flying off the shelves, and I can see why.

First, It's made out of super fine organic cotton, so soft it feels silky. Second, it's gorgeous. The design is perfect. The Ruched Scoop has the easy feel of a baggy tee, with enough detail to dress it up and make it pretty, pretty, pretty.

Now, I'm the baggy tee type.....or the slim tee type. I just don't like wearing frilly, fussy clothes. I'm too street for extra fabric or fanciful belts or weird sleeves getting in my way. My guy at Indigenous knows this, so I left it up to him to pick out a garment for me to test.

Right out of the box, I could see that the ruching in the front, the nice detailing on the sleeves, and the soft folds on the neckline were subtle enough to meet my "must be simple" criteria and elegant enough to pair with my skinny jeans. Lucky for me that the top arrived just in time for a big date with my boyfriend. Once I dumped out my lingerie drawer and tossed all my sports bras aside, I managed to find a beige bra that would stay below the low-cut scoop neck. Perfect.
