Indigenous Designs Flower Hat : Fall Bloom
Now that the cold over air is starting to blow in, I'm packing away my bandanas and baseball caps to make room for warmer fall hats. Right now, I'm loving my Flower Hat from Indigenous Designs. Part beanie, part cap, it's a lovely handknit lid for every day wear. Made out of wool and alpaca, with a rolled edge and a flat top, my Flower Hat is a perfect fit that isn't too tight. So I can wear it for hours without getting hat head. It's also just right for cool and cold days where I need some warmth just down to the middle of my ears -- yet can still display my fancy silver earrings. I also like the colorful flower on the front side of the cap because it's sort of girly--something I never would have worn as a girl, but now that I'm pushing my mid-40s makes me feel like a college girl. Or at least a grad student! Bottom Line: Indigenous Designs makes a variety of cute hats, scarves, and gloves/mitts for fall and winter. Check their website for current items and to see where items are sold. If you can't find their hats on their site, call them and order directly.--E.D.
