Ibex Jaci Capri : The Forever Pant (Short)

I could live in my baggy old college cross-country sweatpants (the thick, cotton type from the 80s), which years ago, I hacked into knee-length shorts. I just couldn't leave the house very often because I'd get tired of my friends telling me how crappy I look in them.

Now, I have the perfect replacement pant, Ibex's Jaci Capri, and my friends will never be able to diss my daily uniform again!

Made out of soft, 18.5 micron merino wool, they're the ideal length for me because I like to keep my middle-aged thighs covered and because in temperate Seattle I can wear them outside almost year-round. They're short enough to be shorts when it's hot and long enough to be pants when it's cool. The wool wicks, breathes, and dries quickly so I stay comfy in warm temps, and it keeps me warm in cool temps. It's a miracle fabric.

I literally wear them every day. I work at home, so the only dress code is my whim. I put on my Jaci Capri pant in the morning, power walk in them in the afternoon, nap in them early evening, then wear them all night while lounging or hanging out with friends. I can do anything or go anywhere in this loose-fitting knee pant. Ibex classifies the Jaci as "semi-fit," but I think the material gives quite a bit and they because loose (but not sloppy) as the day progresses.

I recently wore my fancy wool knee pant on a 14-hour train ride. The only reason I added my Jaci Capri to the wash the day was my phobia about train germs. I'd worn the pants for a couple of days in the hot midwest before the trip - yet they didn't look dirty or smell - at all.
