Gaiam Organic Jersey Sheets : Sleep in Your Favorite T-Shirt

Since I love wearing t-shirts so much, I can't believe I've never had cotton jersey sheets before.

Sleeping in Gaiam's organic jersey bedding has been a dream. I spend a lot of time in bed - both because I sleep a lot and because I often work in bed (what can I say...I'm a writer and work in my pajamas). I love the softness of the jersey knit; it's like I'm sleeping in in my favorite t-shirt. I also love know that my sheets are pesticide- and chemical-free.

For some odd reason, I always have to wear socks when I sleep - no matter what the temperature. With my Gaiam organic jersey sheets, I finally have been able to take off my socks because the sheets are so soft and forgiving that my dry heels don't feel scratchy against them.

The sheets are always comfortable and soft - no stiff feeling when I take them off the clothes line, I never have to worry about wrinkles (or ironing -- who irons their sheets?), and they have enough give that getting the bottom sheet on the mattress is a cinch.

I also appreciate the t-shirt feel in the pillow cases, which have a cool fold-over flap inside to keep the pillow from falling out. Bonus. Since I never sleep with a top sheet, I've been using the top sheep as my "blanket" when I watch movies late at night.

The bedding can be purchase as a set or as individual pieces. The set comes in a drawstring pouch (which has become my de facto organizer bag for overnights or weekend getaways - I just throw all my small easily lost items in the pouch, and toss it into my case.)
