I'm all for simplicity, style, and saving the planet. That's why I love the slim rubber Wallet made by English Retreads.
The Wallet has a main compartment for bills and flat pockets on each side for credit cards and a driver's license. I like that it also has a hidden pocket under the right-side card sleeve for stashing emergency bills or an infrequently used card. No snaps or zippers or see-through windows--just the essentials.
Based in Boulder, Colorado, English Retreads makes bags, belts, and other eco accessories by hand out of reclaimed bicycle inner tubes. Cool. They also participate in a program to help them offset the carbon emissions from manufacturing. Very Cool.
I'm a big fan of English Retreads because I think they do a great job of turning a durable material into fun, fashionable accessories.
