EcoSkin Danubrite Wrap : Party On

Dressing up can be so complicated. There's the dress, the shoes, the right lingerie, and for me, the right throw-on jacket or shawl for that time of the night when it's a bit too chilly for a dress that shows you off.

My EcoSkin Danubrite Wrap, made out of bamboo, Tencel, and a bit of Spandex, is the perfect cover up for any occasion. It looks like fine-weave cotton, drapes like rayon, feels silky smooth, and has enough stretch in it to distinguish it as dress-up garment.

With arm-hugging (but not skin-tight) sleeves, a loose, unbuttoned opening, and a generously-cut hood, my Danubrite Wrap is perfect for covering up my dress without covering up my look. It's both loose and elegant. Gotta love that.

I especially love that when wearing the wrap I don't feel confined, and I don't feel like I have to be careful about what I do (like bust moves all over the dance floor or get down on the floor to play with my friends' kids--my usual wedding role) or if I spill cake or wine on it. It's machine washable, so no dry cleaning bills. And if the other guests get drunk and throw me in the pool, my wrap won't be ruined. (In reality, I haven't been to a party that ended like that in 25 years -- just a fun idea.)
