Eco-Nature Care Hair and Body Wash : Clean and Natural

Once upon a time biodegradable soap only came in tiny travel size bottles, and it was reserved for use in the backcountry. 

Since then we've been to the moon, seen the rise and fall of the cassette tape, and our options for eco-friendly products have greatly expanded.  Now, I can get body wash and shampoo all in one bottle, and in a formulation that's planet-friendly.

The first thing I liked about Eco-Nature Care's Hair and Body Wash -- the no-frills, 100% aluminum bottle. It's eye catching, and it looks on the shelf. It's also recyclable (or reusable) when the soap's gone. 

After a few showers with this new wash, I decided that a dollop on an exfoliating sponge is the best way to get a good lather going.  I have short hair so one sponge full gives me enough suds to get me clean head to toes. My wife, who has long hair, needs a little extra for her locks. 

On a recent trip I was a little bummed that the 10 oz. bottle didn't pass the carry-on container requirements, but no worries--I packed it in my checked bag. The worry wart in me was concerned that it might leak in our luggage, but the simple screw-on cap has a secure seal. Both my wife and I like products that are gender neutral in scent (or not scented at all), and we really like products that serve more than one purpose. Less to pack.

Eco-Nature Care Hair and Body Wash is available in Fresh, Crisp, and Clean scents.  I tested the "Crisp" product, which has a citrusy scent that's sort of a cross between an orange and a lime. 

Eco Creds: not tested on animals, no petroleum, paraben-free, phthalate-free, sodium lauryl sulfate-free, biodegradable, vegan. While Eco-Nature Care is not organic or as plant-based as some of the products we review, their goal seems to be to reduce unnecessary ingredients and minimize packaging. We like that.
