Earthlust Stainless Steel Water Bottle : For Ladies, But Men Can Use It, Too

As a product tester, I've seen my share of non-plastic water bottles. Stainless steel is my favorite material. It's sturdy. It's recyclable. I like the way my water tastes. And it looks cool.

I have to admit that I'd known about Earthlust for awhile before I decided to review one of their products. Something about their bottles make me think I wouldn't like them. I couldn't quite put my finger on it until I saw their booth at Greenfest several months ago: They're pretty!

For some reason I thought a pretty bottle wouldn't be functional; it would leak. What a suspicious thought for me, the champion of all things fancy and green! Once I saw the display I thought what I imagine everyone else in line was thinking, "I want one. Or two. Oh, and that blue one, too."

Earthlust bottles come in 13- and 20-ounce sizes, as well as in 1 liter size. I've been using a 20-ounce for a few months now, and I really love it. The most notable feature: it's thinner than most water bottles, which I love because I can fit my entire hand around it. (The other sizes are wider.)

Another feature that separates Earthlust bottles from many other stainless bottles--the simple, yet fancy nature designs. I have a silver bottle with a black parsley plant design (it's a limited edition bottle, BTW). The 20-ounce bottle also comes in purple (with a contrast tan flower), yellow (with a contrast dark colored dragonfly), and other colors and images.

More often than not, I've been grabbing my elegant Earthlust bottle as I run out the door. It's just the right size for me, it fits perfectly into the side pocket of my fun small day pack (and I can attach the bottle to my pack side strap for extra security), and most important, it has not leaked once.
