Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Cream : Restorative Clean for All Skin Types

Before I found a skin care system that worked for me, my defense against oily skin and breakouts included: lots of washings and scrubbings and astringents. But it never worked. Now I have a few skin care brands that really work for me, and every few months I rotate them so I can try others.

For the past few months, I've been using Dr. Hauschka face care products--and loving them. Some face care systems leave my face feeling squeaky clean -- and that's great. With Dr. Hauschka, my face feels clean, but also nourished. Not moist or oily, but healthy and pliant. This may sound strange, but I feel like the Cleansing Cream restores my skin's natural barrier of protection. As if my skin is a bit plumper.

Following the instructions on the tube, I gently press it into my skin rather than rub my skin. I love the light scent - it's almost as if I can smell the various natural ingredients -- a hint of almond (sweet almond meal provides the grainy but delicate exfoliant), calendula extract that soothes and calms irritated skin, and chamomile balance out redness and inflammation.

I love the Cleansing Cream because it's both an exfoliant and a deep cleanser, but it leaves my skin feeling so soft, refreshed, and balanced. It also comes in a slim 1.7 ounce tube, so it's easy to pack (and never leaks).
