Sometimes I want to be fancy and green and a bad ass all at the same time. And look cute.
When I first saw eco fashion designer Deborah Lindquist's cashmere skull cap, I knew that I'd found the perfect chapeau for all my moods and needs. I also new I'd have a totally original and eco-friendly accessory that my friends would admire and envy.
Made out of re-purposed cashmere (fabric "scraps" refashioned, and I emphasis the word FASHION here, into a fancy new accessory), this gorgeous hat feels wonderful, looks fantastic, and keeps my little head toasty warm. I love the skull and bones design, of course, in contrast white, and I really love the tiny rhinestone in the skull's eye sockets. (My hat doesn't have the little red flower pictured here, and I like it that way.)
When it's really cold out, I wear the cap as is, and when I want a slightly different fit and look, I fold under the white ribbed band that runs around the bottom of the hat and it fits more like a beanie.
Bottom Line: I adore this luxurious, charming hat. I never realized before that an accessory could be so essential and fun. (Other colors and designs available.)--E .D. (Oct 08)
