Collective Wellbeing Partner In Shine
Some days my hair doesn’t need much—I just want it to be shiny. On those days, I use Collective Wellbeing’s Partners In Shine, an ultra lightweight natural hair styling serum made from plant extracts and sea kelp. The first time I used Partner In Shine I was surprised to find that the liquid was quite “thin,” much lighter than a leave-in conditioner, which makes sense because it’s a serum, not a conditioning product. The serum comes in a 3.5 ounce tube. Partners in Shine has a very gentle, fresh scent. I can’t use most drugstore hair products because I react to the chemical fragrance, but Collective Wellbeing’s products do not contain extra "fragrance." Instead, they have a clean scent that comes from the plants used in their products. The ingredient list includes: organic extracts and oils of basil, orange, lavender, rosemary, and sage. Eco Creds: product contains certified organic oils and plant extracts per a USDA accredited agency, packaging is recyclable, company is carbon neutral, and donates to 1% for the Planet. Bottom Line: I’ve been very happy with my Collective Wellbeing products (I also use their Enemy of Frizz styling serum). I like using natural, organic products, and I like that Collective Wellbeing has made a commitment to operating a carbon neutral company.--E.D. (May 2011) Buy Online: $12.50, click to shop.
