Choice Organic Teas Wild Forest Black Tea
I was in a tea rut. Thankfully, I discovered Wild Forest Black tea by Choice Organic Teas. It's a simple, smooth black tea that blends well with milk (and soy milk) and sweetens up nicely with a bit of honey. When I say "smooth" I mean the tea is mellower than my typical cup of English breakfast tea. At first I thought the Wild Forest Black tea was weaker, but then I realized that the tea tasted less tannin-y than what I'm used to. I like that! I appreciate the fact that Choice Organic Teas is committed to fair trade, produces organic tea, and uses wind power! The Wild Forest Black tea is one of several teas that Choice Organic Teas uses to raise funds for the Jane Goodall Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting chimpanzees. I like drinking Wild Forest Black tea because I can get the caffeine and tea taste I'm after in a brew with less bite. ECO CREDS: USDA organic, fair trade certified, tea bags are not bleached, company buys wind power to offset electricity use, packaging is recycled, recyclable, and biodegradable. Choice makes a variety of teas: black, green, herbal, etc. Bottom Line: A nice basic black tea that's good any time of day.--E.D. (Dec 2011) BUY ONLINE : $4.99/box (16 tea bags), click to shop.
