Choice Organics Rooibos Superfruit Tea

I was drinking Rooibos tea long before it was a trendy thing to do. Now I’ve found a brand new fruity brew in Choice Organic’s Rooibos Superfruit Herbal Tea.

I was originally drawn to Rooibos tea many years ago as a substitute for black tea. Rooibos is an herbal tea from South Africa that’s dark, rich, and takes milk well but doesn’t have the tannins or caffeine of black tea.  An ideal option for a late-night cup of tea!

I’d never had Rooibos blended with fruit before, and I admit that I was surprised I liked it so much. It’s so refreshing. Rooibos Superfruit contains Organic Hibiscus, Organic Apple, Organic Orange Peel, Organic Schizandra Berry, and Organic Orange oil.  The fruit is a lovely balance to the stronger Rooibos taste. I really like it because it’s not flowery or too fruity.  No ingredient stands out over the rest.

Most often I drink Rooibos Superfruit tea at night when I want a little pick-me-up cup of tea while working. For a more cozy cup, I add a bit of soy milk.
