Certaintees T-Shirt (for men and women) : Comfy Green

T-shirts used to be so simple, boxy, and made of cotton. The more you washed and wore, the better they got, the more stretched out they got, the thinner they got. Then someone decided we needed lycra in our tees for a slim fit. I supposed those body-hugging shirts are ok for a Friday night, but for every day wear, I want my worn-in cotton tees. Please.

Thank the t-shirts gods and goddesses for Certaintees - eco tees made out of 30% organic cotton and 70% renewable bamboo fiber. They start off soft, thin, boxy, and stretchy (w/o a speck of lycra). Right off the rack, I get the fit I want with the aging already woven in. Better, I get my choice of unique graphic designs across my chest -- a squiggly octopus that looks like it's from an old-time maritime encyclopedia, a cow on wheels that could be from an English farm almanac, or a portrait of my favorite writer (Shakespeare) or my favorite American (Ben Franklin).

Note: Check the size chart before ordering. I'm always a L in tees, but I found the L to be a bit snug and preferred the baggier fit of the XL. Also, these fun shirts run a bit long through the torso, which is such a nice change. You can tuck in or let it hang loose.

Bottom Line: Get yourself into one of these tees. More fun - when you buy a shirt, you get a cotton shopping bag and a bookmark with washing instructions. --E.D. (July 08)
