Burt's Bees Radiance Facial Cleanser : Beeautiful

I was looking for a natural facial cleanser because I have sensitive skin and wanted a more organic product. The new Burt's Bees Facial Cleanser with royal jelly makes a very nice choice.

I'm not the biggest fan of how royal jelly smells on its own, but I am a huge fan of its benefits (and this product has a light, pleasant scent so it doesn't smell like pure royal jelly). Royal Jelly contains eight essential amino acids, Niacin, Folic Acid and vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C, D and E. How's that for healthy skin!

To test this facial cleanser I used a light facial scrubby pad. First I ran it under warm water and wrung it out, then added a small dollop of the facial cleanser to it. I scrubbed my face, using small circular motions, until the pad turned brown with makeup. I rinsed the pad well and wiped warm water over my face, patting it dry with a towel. To see if the cleanser really removed my makeup, I took a cotton ball with some astringent and swiped it over my face. The cotton ball came up clean.

Burt's Bees Facial Cleanser is very light and doesn't feel greasy. Once I rinse it off, my face feels clean and smooth. The plant-based cleanser is meant to remove dirt, oil, and makeup. It's real magic comes from the fruit acid complex that helps encourage normal skin cell turnover. This is the secret to making your skin look more radiant and vibrant over time. To get this from a facial cleanser, something that I would use every day anyway, is a huge bonus!

I also like the pump dispenser; it's quick, less messy than pour-top bottles, and allows me to apply just the right amount. I follow up this cleanser with Burt's Bees Radiance SPF 15 Day Lotion.
