Blancho Bedding Sheet Sets : Organic In the Bag

Since I spend most of my time in bed, I'd like to have eco-friendly sheets and blankets. I was looking for something in between hippy and luxe, and I found it at Blancho Bedding.

Their moderately priced organic sheet sets come in a variety of colorful and casual designs. What I like best about my BB sheet set is that it's designed like European bedding: the pillow cases have fold-over pockets that keep the pillows in the cases and there's no top sheet - instead, a duvet cover. I prefer this ensemble to the standard top sheet/bottom sheet/two pillow cases kits because I never use a top sheet. It just gets tangled up and ends up at the bottom of the bed or on the floor.

So, function-wise, I'm very happy with my bedding set. I'm pretty hard on sheets (not that anything exciting happens in my bed -- I'm just lazy and don't change my sheets a lot.) Also, because I'm a writer, I tend to work in bed often, which means I eat in bed and spill tea and chocolate and other stuff on my sheets all the time. I don't pay much attention to caring for them. I toss them in the wash, then hang them to dry on my wooden drying rack (because I'm eco!). I've been using my BB sheets for months, and they still feel the same and look the same as the day I got them. No fading, no blotchy discolorations.

BB has several styles and colors for twin, full, queen, and king beds, as well as a "youth" line.
