Beckons Organic Love Yoga Skort : Fun and Flair

I don't actually practice yoga in my Beckons Organics Love Yoga Skort, but I do just about everything else in it.

In warm weather it's my go-to garment for power walks. I also like it for indoor workouts because I like the extra coverage. I'm too old to don those tiny shorts the young gals at the club dare to wear.

Made out of organic cotton, with a thick (1.5 inch) waistband and a soft inner bike short-style liner, the Yoga Skort is both comfortable and attractive. After wearing it constantly this summer, it still looks good. Because of the inner liner, I wash the skort more often than I would wash a regular workout skirt. Still, the bright purple material has held its color really well.

The skort is made out of four panels, which gives it a nice A-line shape. Just a bit of a flair from hip to hem. It's just the right length, too. Short enough to wear on hot days, but not so short I feel immodest (or my age). I like that the inner liner is fairly loose-fitting. I can't stand skin-tight liners--they make my thighs feel like sausages!

As a former athlete I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I really like having cute workout gear. The Yoga Skort is a fun addition to my exercise wardrobe, and it's different than other skort's I have. I like the logo tag, which features the words, "courage beckons integrity."
