Baggu Shopping Bag : BYOB

Are you still wasting paper? What's it gonna take to convince you to Bring Your Own Bag every time you go to the store?

O.K. Sorry about the guilt trip. I don't always remember to bring my own bag, either. What I'm trying to do is leave bags in my car and in my day packs. My latest bag is a Baggu bag. It was a gift from my friend at Eurostyle Your Life, and it has a picture of President Obama on one side. I love it.

My patriotic nylon Baggu is a bright magenta color, and comes in it's own square pouch. So, I can fold it up small, pack it into the pouch, and fold over the top of the pouch. Most days I'm pretty good at remembering to toss it into my pack (I don't carry a purse, but a small day pack). At the end of my hour-long power walk, I stop at the store, and load up my Baggu with groceries. It carries about the same amount as a grocery bag, and what's better, if I need to do a big shopping it's still easy to toss another packable bag in my pack.

Available in oodles of cool colors like electric purple, persimmon, smoke, olive, indigo, rhubarb flower, neon chevron, and new berry.

Bottom Line: It really makes me feel good to remember my Baggu. I can reuse this bag again and again and again. If we all remember to bring our own bags, we could save a lot of trees. --E.D. (May 09)
