Attitude All Purpose Cleaner : Clean Green

I started trying some new "green" cleaning products recently in an effort to rid my home of cleaners with a long list of unidentifiable chemicals in them.

Many of these mass-produced cleaners though, despite their "green" creds, still seemed to contain chemicals in them that did not seem very green or home friendly. Then I tried the All Purpose Cleaner from Attitude.

I loved it! Not only does it smell nice, but it contains ingredients that are recognizable, such as water and essential oils. The only ingredient I didn't know -- "lauryl glucoside," which is a surfactant and detergent made from coconut oil and sugar. It biodegrades quickly, isgentle on skin, and works in hard water. Sounds pretty eco to me.

I use the All Purpose Cleaner spray on most every surface in my house, including granite countertops, lacquered wood, marble, linoleum, Formica, the fridge (both inside and out) and ceramic tiles. The key is not to use too much as a little bit goes a long way. I found a micro fiber cloth (as opposed to paper towels) worked best with the spray cleaner because it helped spread the product more evenly and wiped it up more thoroughly, leaving less residue on shiny surfaces.

Bottom Line: I would definitely recommend this product to friends because it's much safer and environmentally friendly than other "green" products I've tried. Best of all, it didn't irritate my skin (or nostrils) like so many other cleaning products do. Plus, at around $5/bottle, I pay the same I used to pay for old chemical-infused cleaners.--N.S.
