Choices & ChangesWe'll be adding links to organizations, articles, and other information that will help you get involved. But here are a few things you can do now: Read all about it. Watch the documentaries. Get the facts. Pick an issue: fair trade, solar power, wind power, sustainable farming, organic clothing, public transportation, walking. There's a non-profit group for every aspect of getting greener. Join an eco action group, makes changes in your community. Be relentless. Never stop contacting corporations and your government representatives and world leaders about what they need to do NOW to make the major changes that are necessary to save our planet. Write letters, send emails, send petitions. Organize community-wide, state-wide, and country-wide boycotts to force corporations and government to change. Companies have to lose their green (i.e., $) if they're going to take green practices and products seriously. What if nobody bought gas on Fridays, what if we all stopped buying disposable products that end up in landfills. Companies would be forced to start making what we want -- sustainable, recyclable, reusable goods. Consumers have all the power if they decide to use it.
